The optometrist suggested varifocal glasses, however the technician I saw after said this was not ideal due to my distance vision being so good and suffering with back/neck pain due to medical condition varifocals would again not be suitable. Therefore luckily this person (the technician) saved me £300 by saying I would be better just opting for standard lenses. I only had a small prescription which I then ordered from another optician which saved me £142 for same ray ban glasses. Little disappointed with boots inconsistency to say the least as my daughter also uses Boots I May have to think about going elsewhere sadly.

Highly professional service as usual. I always choose this store for my eye test and new glasses. The Optometrist, Sarah Daly, was particularly helpful and had a very reassuring, pleasant manner. I did not feel rushed and felt that I had her full attention at all times. I was assisted with my purchase of new glasses by another very pleasant, helpful young lady called Leoni. Nothing appeared too much trouble and and once again full attention given and a sense of no speed to complete purchase. This is important when choosing glasses to ensure that the customer is satisfied with choices made. Overall, a very satisfied customer who will continue to return. The staff were very patient. Excellent service, keep it up, it is appreciated and thank you!

A good experience from start to finish. Eye test was easily arranged and Optremist very friendly. Good choice of spectacles and took the option to buy second pair at half price. All options explained clearly including the add-ons at an extra price, but no forced sales had. Aftercare and fitting via Amiah was friendly and professional. Felt very much at ease, as I hadnt worn glasses for some time. Would definitely recommend Boots opticians as they were informative and friendly with good personal support.
